ValeMais Terms of Use

1. What ValeMais does

ValeMais is a shopping assistance app operated by LW Forge. You photograph a product's price tag, the app reads the tag with the help of artificial intelligence and calculates the price per normalised unit — reais per kilo or per litre — letting you compare packages of different sizes.

The service is informational. It does not sell products, does not broker purchases and has no affiliation with supermarkets, manufacturers or brands.

2. Age requirement

The app is intended for people aged 13 or over. If you are between 13 and 18, you must use it with the knowledge and consent of your parents or legal guardians. By creating an account, you declare that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account.
• Do not share your access with third parties.
• Report any unauthorised use immediately through the contact channel at the end of this page.

4. Acceptable use

When using ValeMais, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to circumvent technical limits, reverse-engineer the app or access parts of the system without authorisation;
• Automate requests at a volume that degrades availability for other users;
• Submit images containing illegal or offensive content, or the personal data of others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Limitation of liability

Price tags are read by artificial intelligence and the reading can be wrong — because of photo quality, lighting, poorly printed tags, promotions with specific rules or unusual packaging formats. Always check the price on the tag and at the checkout before deciding on a purchase.

The results shown are estimates meant to support your decision. The purchasing decision is entirely yours. LW Forge is not liable for losses arising from incorrect readings, outdated prices, service unavailability or decisions taken on the basis of information from the app.

The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or of being free from errors. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable Brazilian law.

6. Intellectual property

The ValeMais name, brand, design, code and other elements of the app belong to LW Forge. You receive a personal, limited, revocable and non-exclusive licence to use the app in accordance with these terms.

7. Privacy

The processing of your personal data is described in the ValeMais Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from within the app. We may terminate or suspend the service, in whole or in part, on reasonable prior notice inside the app — except in cases of breach of these terms or legal requirement, where termination may be immediate.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page, dated at the top. Material changes will be communicated in the app, and we may ask you to accept them again before continuing to use it.

10. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the user's domicile are elected to settle disputes, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
